Telangana CM KCR has been boasting that Telangana is one of the richest states in the country. After Telangana became richest state, KCR proudly said “I am happy that what Telanganites have been saying during the last 15 years has come true.
The XIVth Finance Commission said only Gujarat and Telangana, were revenue surplus states in the country,” This may make people of the state proud but inside look of KCR’s ten month rule throws a shocking fact. Did anyone see any cash rich person, state or nation take debts.
Now recent budget allocation shows that Telangana will be having another 10000 crs debts. So overall Telangana will be having debts around Rs 71 crs. 71crs is the debts after the division of debts made in united Andhra Pradesh.
The more shocking fact is right after the formation of TRS government, in these ten months more than 10000crs debts have been made. If this is included the debts increase to 81crs.
Intelligent people and experts are questioning whether KCR cannot run the state with surplus budget without taking any debts? Cash rich parties will give debts but willnot take debts and KCR is missing this simple logic.
