Director Sreenu Vaitla, who had once ruled the industry with blockbuster films like Dookudu, Namo Venkatesa and Baadshah, has slowed down after back-to-back failures. Since Aagadu, Vaitla’s downfall has began and he has been going through bad phase. After Amar Akbar Anthony’s disaster result, Sreenu Vaitla has decided to take a break.
After a long gap, Vaitla faced the media and he gave reasons for the break. Vaitla admitted of doing mistakes. He explained where it went wrong. “Once I zero in on an idea or a script, I won’t rethink again. There is no second thought about it. I go ahead with full confidence on the script. Only once in my life I had reworked upon a script. That was Dookudu. After Mahesh, producers everyone were full confident. 80 percent of pre-production was also done. But still I had doubt. I took break and reworked. Dookudu became blockbuster,” said Sreenu Vaitla.
Sreenu Vaitla went onto say that he has taken a break now to reinvent himself. He is said to be making a grand comeback in 2020. “Keeping 4 to 5 stories I have aside, I chose a different format script. And infused a lot of entertainment into the script. 80 percent script has been completed and balance 20 percent script work is going on. I’ll make a proper announcement in the new year. This is going to be out and out entertainer,” said Sreenu Vaitla.
