Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya has been in the making for a long long time now. The shoot is being repeatedly postponed as Chiranjeevi is reluctant to join the shoot in the wake of Covid-19 risk.
There are rumors that Koratala Siva tweaked the script of Acharya during the lockdown period and this led to uncertainty regarding the resumption of shoot. The film will hit the floors only after the final draft is locked.
With so many factors coming into play, Acharya shoot will only be postponed indefenitely.
Interestingly, the delay in Acharya shoot is showing a direct effect on three of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming projects which happen to be Vedhalam remake, Lucifer remake and a film with Bobby.
Chiranjeevi wants to announce his forthcoming projects only after completing Acharya and as a result, three of his upcoming projects are being postponed.
It is said that Acharya shoot might resume in January next year and we need to wait and see if it this speculation will turn to reality.
