Inside Story: KCR taking revenge on GHMC people?

Telangana CM KCR is sinking too low day after another as the Telangana people are visibly not happy with the administration at the moment. Since the formation of the Telangana state, TRS party is facing constant hurdles for the first time and it is a fact that there is enormous pressure on the government.

In the meanwhile, the TRS is facing allegations of the possible corruption happening in the distribution of the funds for the flood victims. Now, after the disappointing GHMC results, it seems like they are very confused with the future course of action. On Monday morning, people lined up in front of most of the mee-seva service centers in the Hyderabad metropolis for compensation.

However, GHMC Commissioner Lokesh clarified that instead of going through mee-seva service centers, the authorities will come to your house and assess the victims to provide compensation. KCR said Rs 430 crore of flood relief had been disbursed directly through GHMC to 4.3 lakh flood-hit families and later transferred to bank accounts through mee-seva service centers.

At present, they have nothing to do with the flood relief and the authorities will have a final call on the distribution of the funds. The GHMC commissioner spoke to the media on this and revealed some interesting points. The commissioner revealed new things that need to be clarified from the government regarding the distribution of flood relief. Lokesh said that guidelines would be issued on the basis of which Rs 10,000 assistance would be given.

However, the TRS promised that all the flood-hit families will get compensation after the declaration of results. Now there is a delay in the process and the people were informed that they will be compensated only after the assessment of the authorities due to new guidelines on which there is no idea for the people before the polls. So, why did the government change their process on this funds distribution after the results?
