Inside Story: Nani sidelines Shyam Singha Roy

Nani’s ongoing project Tuck Jagadish is presently in final leg of shoot and the unit is planning to wrap up shoot by the end of this month.Initially, it was said that Nani will join the sets of his next project, Shyam Singha Roy as soon as he wraps up Tuck Jagadish. But that doesn’t seem to be the case now.

Notably, Shyam Singha Roy has been facing numerous hurdles ever since it was announced and a majority of them are a result of the scale and the budget of the project. Not so long ago, Sithara Entertainments who announced the project backed out without citing any particular reason behind their exit. Soon after, Venkat Boyanpalli came forward to produce it.

But if the latest updates from our sources are to go by, Nani himself has sidelined Shyam Singha Roy now. He feels that the budget of the project is exceeding the preset limits and it wouldn’t an economically viable option to mount this film on a grand scale.

With market equations and the current financial recession in mind, Nani has decided to put this big-budget project on hold. He does not want the project to end up as a cost failure.More details in this regard will be out in the next few weeks. It is known that Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty will play female leads in the film.
