Nani’s ‘V’ was the first big-ticket Telugu film to release directly on an OTT platform. However, the film got a poor reception from the viewers and left Nani in a spot of bother.
Disappointed with the failure of V, Nani wants to be absolutely sure about his upcoming projects.
Nani had signed Tuck Jagadish and Shyam Singha Roy before the release of V and even started shooting for the former which has Siva Nirvana at the helm. But the latest reports suggest that Nani has suggested some changes to Tuck Jagadish and put the film on the backseat. He is not fully satisfied with the script and asked Siva to tweak the final draft before the shoot resumes.
In the meantime, Nani wants to start working on Shyam Singha Roy which he believes has the potential to work well at the box office. He prioritised this film above Tuck Jagadish and wants to release it ahead of the Siva Nirvana directorial. He conveyed his decision to Rahul Sankrityan, the director of Shyam Singha Roy as well.
Nani’s career has hit a rough patch with Gang Leader and V turning out to be duds and he wishes to get back to winning ways with Shyam Singha Roy which might be his next release.
