Ramoji Film City is not just a place where many films get shot, but it is also one of those largest tourist destinations in South India. And then, RFC makes sure that the visitors get some extra treats at their location.
An interesting trend is that RFC is now retaining the sets constructed for some films and showcasing it to the world. Already they haven’t demolished the Mahishmathi set constructed by Rajamouli and Co for Baahubali movie and currently visitors could there and feel the half-constructed set in reality. Other half of the set was actually constructed through visual effects. Here comes another such film set now.
We hear that for the film “Mahanati”, makers have constructed almost 40+ structures to recreate certain iconic scenes that took place in Savitri’s life. Among them, certain structures like Savitri’s house are very interesting and RFC wants to retain them now. After the film’s release, they will be allowing visitors for a walkthrough in the set.
Isn’t this a new trend around? Already the sets constructed for films like U Kodithe Ulikki Padtara, Jyo Atchyutananda and Rangasthalam are being flocked by visitors for some time. While some are getting destructed, some are modified to suit needs of another film.
