The Telangana Rashtra Samithi had celebrated its 21st plenary the other day and massive celebrations were held at the HICC in Hyderabad. The special guests and invitees were treated with a variety of dishes and the menu had more than 30 items including veg and non-veg.
While KCR and KTR had blasted the Union Government over its policies, one plenary saw something interesting and unexpected. The father-son duo had spoken highly about late NTR and highlighted how he had scripted history in the political spectrum during his stint.
One wonders if KCR and KTR wanted to cater to the voters from the Kamma community in the state. In key areas like Kukatpally and others, these voters make up a major share of votes.
The 2020 Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections saw how the ruling TRS had swept the Kukatpally circle. Remembering how the Andhra voters and Kammas stood by them in the crucial and key political battle, the TRS might have thought to cater to them.
Despite the fact that TRS was born to fight against the Andhra leaders alleging that they are obstructing the development of the Telangana region, both KCR and KTR gave massive elevations to late NTR saying that very few personalities were able to do what he did.
