The TDP government has flagged off several ambitious plans to generate 5 lakh employment opportunities in IT and 4 lakh jobs in the electronics sector in the coming few years, said the Minister for IT and Minorities Welfare, Palle Raghunadha Reddy.
The minister said that the sole aim of the government is job creation for the youths. The state is also eyeing Rs 12,000 crore revenue from IT and Rs 30,000 crore from electronic sector in the coming one year. The government’s newly introduced single window licensing policy received decent response from the industrialists with 28 new industries getting approvals, resulting in 37,000 employment opportunities, revealed the minister. ‘Places like Anatapur, Visakhapatnam and Kakinada are attracting new commercial enterprises through their Industrial corridors,’ said the minister.
