It’s not correct for Jagan to change his decision on Amaravati: MP Raghurama

Narsapuram YCP MP Raghurama Krishnamaraju penned yet another letter to CM Jagan. Already, the MP has penned nine letters to CM Jagan. In the letter, he mentioned that while CM Jagan was in opposition, he assured that Amaravati will continue to be the capital of Andhra Pradesh.

The letter read that when Jagan was in opposition, during his padayatra and election campaign, he assured Amaravati will continue as the capital of Andhra Pradesh and Jagan suggested that the capital should have at least 30,000 acres of land. Raghurama said that it is not correct for CM Jagan to change the decision after getting into power.

In the letter, MP said that the financial burden on the government would be reduced if all the three systems of government were in one place. Also, he criticized that the Jagan govt has ignored the concerns of the Amaravati farmers who had given lands to the capital.
