Yesterday, the bhoomi puja for Lord Shri Ram’s temple in Ayodhya took place, with the Prime Minister of India laying the foundation with the first brick. The temple is expected to be done within the next 3 years.
This historic moment was witnessed by millions of people all over the world, and hundreds of channels all over India and abroad had telecast it. What comes as a shock and surprise is the fact that the SVBC channel, run by TTD, had failed to telecast such a legendary moment, despite being a major pillar of hindu dharma in the world.
The SVBC had even done a live telecast of when Jagan visited the Sharada Peetham in Visakhapatnam, which is why this issue is being considered to be blasphemous. The Andhra Pradesh BJP leaders are now leading a massive attack against Chief Minister Jagan, for failing to make sure that the SVBC telecast the event live.
BJP leader Vishnuvardhan Reddy has been demanding the removal of Venkata Nagesh as the CEO of SVBC, soon after this huge mistake. He also said that this all had happened intentionally, and that the entire government was answerable to millions of devotees and believers who felt betrayed yesterday.
Vishnuvardhan Reddy also said that the CM, Endowments Minister and TTD Chairman S.V. Subba Reddy should immediately respond to this erratic incident, and set the record straight.
Judging by the above, one cannot help but wonder if Jagan and others were really behind the SVBC not live telecasting the bhoomi puja.
