It appears like the much-awaited cabinet reshuffle in Andhra Pradesh is expected to happen very soon as Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made key remarks regarding the same in the cabinet meeting held on Friday.
In the meeting, CM Jagan said that there would be a cabinet expansion soon. He suggested that those who are sacked from the ministry should work for the party. The current ministers, who will be removed from the cabinet, will be handed over the responsibilities of districts and made as district in-charges. However, the CM said some incumbents would remain in the ministry while the rest will be filled with new faces.
With Jagan’s remarks, there is a large-scale debate as to who will be the next minister. It is expected that cabinet expansion would be done by considering the new districts, along with social balance, by giving proper representation to the dominant communities.
