NTR’s “Jai Lava Kusa” has been creating headlines with the pre-release business it has been doing. The business has been closed in all areas, except in Vizag.Thanks to the huge success of Nannaku Prematho and Janatha Garage and television series Bigg Boss, NTR’s name spells big money these days.
Given the massive collections of “Janatha Garage”, Tollywood trade has been rather bullish over “Jai Lava Kusa”.The film’s producer Kalyan Ram has been able to sell the film in all areas, including the overseas market, for whopping amounts, barring Vizag.
Well, that’s because he has quoted a high price for the area. Kalyan Ram has been demanding Rs 8.5 cr and NTR does not have such a huge market in Uttarandhra as yet.So, the distributors are not offering beyond Rs 7 cr. It remains to be seen who will grab the rights finally.
