An official statement was released today, stating Jana Sena’s participation in the upcoming GHMC elections in Telangana. A letter was released by the party on behalf of Pawan Kalyan, its founder.
The letter stated that several members, especially the youth members of the party have recently met with Pawan Kalyan, and expressed their interest in contesting in the upcoming GHMC elections. Taking their request into consideration, Pawan is said to have issued orders to all concerned authorities, to make arrangements for Jana Sena to contest in the elections.
Jana Sena has already taken up several activities in Telangana, and especially in Hyderabad, where they helped a lot of food victims during the devastating rains that drowned Hyderabad recently. All active members of the party have a chance to take part in the elections, and the final list of the candidates is expected to be announced soon, once the nomination procedure is done.
It is already known that the BJP has high hopes on the GHMC elections, following its massive victory in Dubbaka by-elections. Jana Sena and BJP are working together in AP for the welfare of the people, and a similar work pattern is expected here, in Telangana and Hyderabad, from now onwards.
