Jeevitha commits first mischief as Censor Board member

Yesteryear Actress and Lady director, Jeevitha Rajasekhar is recently appointed as the Central Censor Board Member by the Modi government for the help she rendered the party before the elections.
Given the dubious history of Jeevitha for bounced cheques etc, many have doubted if she will do the job responsibly. Making their fears true, Jeevitha already started misusing her power. Her husband, Rajasekhar’s latest film Gaddam Gang was submitted for Censor few days ago.
The movie is the story of a bunch of jobless youth who get addicted to bad habits. They smoke heavily in several scenes and use many nasty dialogues. There were even several vulgar scenes between the hero and heroine in the movie.
Usually the movie for sure should get ‘A’ certificate with lot of cuts. But Jeevitha used her contacts and got ‘U/A’ certificate for the movie with minimum cuts. In fact she reportedly wanted clean U for the movie to which the local Censor Board did not agree fearing public backlash.
Gaddam Gang is gearing up for release on February 6th. The movie is a remake of Tamil film, Soodhu Kavvum. A new comer Santosh will be making his directional debut with this movie. He earlier worked in the direction department of Journey fame Sarvanan.
