Jogi Ramesh gets relief in HC, but conditions apply

Pedana YSRCP MLA Jogi Ramesh has got a major relief from the High Court after it has declared that he can talk to the media. As part of the local election campaign, Jogi had made several controversial statements, following which the SEC had issued orders to Jogi, ordering him to not speak to the media until the 17th of this month.

Jogi then approached the HC and filed a Lunch Motion, and this petition came to hearing in the High Court today. The HC passed a verdict saying ghat Jogi can talk to the media, but not about elections, and only about his party’s plans. The HC also said that Jogi is not supposed to talk to anyone who is contesting in the elections.

Jogi had earlier threatened that anyone who contests against the YSRCP will have to face severe consequences and that every facility given to them by the government will be cut. This was recorded on video, which has turned out to be a major drawback for Jogi.

Despite the controversy that was created because of this video, Jogi has once again reiterated that anyone who contests against YSRCP candidates would suffer and that no government schemes would be eligible to them
