Kajal Aggarwal, who is juggling with Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood, stirred up a hornet’s nest. When questioned about which film industry has given her more satisfaction, Kajal responded saying “complicated question” but went on answered.
“I started with Telugu. So, I’m very partial towards Telugu industry. It has a special place in my heart. But having said that, I think Tamil film industry is extremely superior when it comes to scripts and creativity. And Hindi is my language. So genuinely, it’s very difficult spot to choose. But like I said, am very partial to Telugu,” Kajal was quoted as saying in Date with Anasuya.
Though she said she’s partial towards Telugu, she directly stated that the Tamil films are superior in scripts and creativity and thus hinted that she’s more satisfied in Tamil.
Of late, Telugu film industry is on par with Tamil film industry and making films like “Magadheera”, “Eega”, “Baahubali” and recently “Gautamiputra Satakarni”. In fact, what Kajal conveniently forgotten is that most of the films that are remade in Hindi are from the Telugu industry.
Definitely many in Tollywood are not happy with Kajal’s comments as she also bring in the topic of creativity hinting that Tamil directors are more creative than Telugu. Let’s see how Tollywood reacts now.
