Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai pasted notice outside actor Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika Films production office’ in Mumbai, proclaiming unlawful construction in the premises.
A JCB machine was brought in for the demolition process of the property to raze out some part of the office by the Mumbai Police. They have put a barricade to keep media persons away.
Meanwhile Kangana indirectly labelled Shivsena as “Babur’s army”, who went to demolish her office. Kangana in an outrageous way tweeted in Hindi in one of her tweets, “I have lived the courage, valor and sacrifice of Rani Laxmibai through the film. The sad thing is that I am being prevented from coming to my own Maharashtra. I will continue to raise my voice against evil, Jai Maharashtra, Jai Shivaji”.
She called Mumbai as Pakistan and used the hashtag #deathofdemocracy in a series of tweets. Meanwhile public lashed out at Maharashtra government asserting that it is clearly evident that such incident is part of dirty politics played by Shivsena and other political leaders. Netizens believed, demolition process is occurred as a repercussion when Kangana slammed Maharashtra government in SSR death case and Palghar lynch case.
Kangana said there is no illegal construction in her house, also government has banned any demolitions in Covid till September 30 in one of her tweets. She asserted such things will only make her spirit stronger.
