Actress Kangana Ranaut has slammed Maharashtra government in Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami’s case after he was captured by the Raigad Police on Wednesday morning.She took a stance for Arnab against the assault by police and shared a short video clip while travelling in a car today morning. Message for Maharashtra government,” Kangana captioned.
In the 1 min video, she questioned Maharashtra government asserting, “how many houses will you break? How many voices will you stop?, if you put a damper on one voice another will surely rise. Let them pull your hair and assault you. For the cause of free speech, warriors were hanged with smiles on their faces. Also What’s wrong in saying penguin (A troll used for Aditya Thackeray) when they appear actually” she retaliated.
A short video of the Republic Tv chief surfaced in the net, where he is seen sitting inside a police van and screaming from the window to a news reporter that he was beaten up by police.
Reportedly, Arnab Goswami was detained at home for allegedly abetting the suicide of a 53-year-old interior designer in 2018. A police official stated that the architect and his mother committed suicide in 2018 over alleged non-payment over dues by Republic TV.
