Kannada star rejects Mahesh’s film once again?

On the eve of Super Star Krishna’s birthday, Mahesh Babu’s next film titled Sarkaru Vaari Paata was officially announced. The film will be directed by Parasuram and co-jointly bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Plus.

The latest reports suggest that the Parasuram team has reportedly approached Upendra for the main antagonist role in the movie. But he politely rejected the offer saying that he is not interested in playing negative roles. After playing a negative role in Allu Arjun’s S/o Satyamurthy, Upendra has not accepted any negative roles in the recent past. Earlier too, Upendra rejected to star in a negative role in Mahesh-Anil Ravipudi’s Sarileru Neekevvaru film.

So, now the makers are planning to approach Sudeep for the antagonist role. An official confirmation is awaited in this regard. As per the latest reports, SS Thaman has recently started composing the tunes for the film. On the other end, Mahesh has reportedly suggested the makers to begin the shoot from December as the COVID-19 cases have been increasing with each passing day. It looks like Mahesh Babu is not in a hurry to commence shooting for his next. In fact, life is more important than anything else.

The makers unveiled the first look poster of SVP, which received a thumping response from all sections of the audience. One-rupee coin tattoo and Mahesh’s earring increased the hype surrounding the film and fans opined that the film will be a mass entertainer. Touted to be a family entertainer with an impactful social message, the film is in the pre-production stage. The film may star Kiara Advani as the film’s leading lady. However, nothing has been confirmed as of now. The film might be released in 2021.
