Why Is KCR Afraid Of Modi?

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy sought to know why Chief Minister KCR was so afraid of PM Narendra Modi that he had accepted all anti-people decisions of BJP Government at the Centre without any objection or resistance.

Questioning KCR’s decision to support the candidature of NDA candidate Ramnath Kovind in Presidential elections who had openly opposed reservations for Dalit Christians and Muslims, Uttam wondered as to what was forcing KCR to support a candidate who was deeply associated with RSS and other communal forces.

He ridiculed KCR’s contention that TRS was extending support to a Dalit leader in the Presidential elections. In that case, he said UPA candidate Meira Kumar should be the best option as she is both Dalit and a woman who had also played a key role in formation of Telangana State.

Similarly, Uttam Kumar Reddy said KCR did not raise any objections on the imposition of GST which would burden the common man.

He said that the Chief Minister has failed to address the concerns of traders and other segments which would be badly hurt due to imposition of GST.

TRS Government is acting more like a BJP Government in Telangana State which is implementing all the decisions taken by the Central leadership without raising any objections or understanding its impact on people, he said.

“It is nothing but the fear of facing probe into various irregularities in the execution of Mission Bhagiratha, irrigation projects and other schemes. By extending blind support to Modi and all his decisions, KCR is trying to keep the Central investigating agencies at bay. Both TRS and BJP have a secret understanding on supporting each other, even for all wrong doings,” he alleged.
