Telangana CM KCR announced that the teachers and non-teaching staff of recognized private educational institutions would be provided disaster relief at the rate of Rs 2,000 per month.
He also said that 25 kg of rice per month would be distributed to each family through ration shops. The assistance will be available on a monthly basis on behalf of the state government from April 1 until the reopening of educational institutions.
For this, the teachers and staff of private educational institutions should apply to the local district collectors with their bank account details, the CM said. KCR said that this decision was taken to support the families of teachers and other non-teaching staff of private educational institutions with a humanitarian perspective. T
he decision will benefit about 1.45 lakh teachers and other staff working in recognized private educational institutions in the state.
