Mocking his religious beliefs, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has targeted Telangana CM KCR. Modi kick-started the election campaign and as part of it, he toured Mahbubnagar on Friday. In his speech Modi took pot-shots at KCR and added that fearing Modi’s waves KCR went for assembly polls early.
“KCR has the habit of relying on astrologers and they have advised him not to go for assembly and Lok Sabha elections simultaneously. Because it would bring bad results to KCR and his party. Astrologers have said Modi’ star is going to work in April and May months. So KCR has called early assembly elections,” said Modi. He questioned who will decide the future of Telangana, the people or the astrologers.
Modi further criticised KCR for not implementing central government schemes in Telangana such as housing for all and Aayushman Bharat which provides health to the poor. “About one crore people have their own houses now. How many did KCR give in Telangana? Like so KCR is obstructing many schemes that can benefit the poor and under privileged,” added the PM. Then Modi appealed to the people to vote for BJP candidates for a stronger government in the national capital.
