Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy has lashed out at Telangana CM KCR for his remarks against Centre’s Rs 20 lakh crore economic stimulus package. Stating that CM KCR’s language is “objectionable”, Kishan Reddy asked how Telangana lost with the financial package announced by the Prime Minister.
Strongly retaliating to KCR’s criticism and allegations that Centre’s policy is against federal spirit, Kishan Reddy said One Nation – One Grid scheme has to be implemented as part of the reforms. He asked KCR to not to resort to “vote bank politics” in this hour of crisis. Kishan Reddy said Centre’s Rs 20 Lakh crore economic stimulus package is a wholesome package aimed at the development of states cutting across languages and regions. He said states would benefit largely with the Economic Stimulus Package announced by the Centre.
He questioned CM KCR whether a single rupee of government was wasted in Modi’s regime. He said the Union Government has done reforms in order to make key changes in the previous policies. Kishan Reddy said setting up of new industries and skill training are key for a nation’s growth and said without which the nation wouldn’t develop even in 70 years. He said KCR should clearly explain how Telangana state would lose with Centre’s economic stimulus package of Rs 21 lakh crore.
Kishan Reddy fired back at CM KCR and dubbed him as a “monarch” and “dictator”. He alleged that KCR is behaving as if there is no space for anyother political party in Telangana – other than TRS.
Kishan Reddy said Rythu Bandhu in Telangana is not applicable to farmers who doesn’t act as per the state government. He said Rythu Bandhu is applicable only to the farmers who crop the listed crops of state government. “Did we oppose your policy on Rythu Bandhu?” asked Kishan Reddy. “If what you have done is correct, how come what the Centre done is wrong? This practice of two-facedness isn’t fair,” said Kishan Reddy.
Raising the topic of migrants, Kishan Reddy said thousands of workers are migrating to Gulf countries. He said this problem persists for the last 30 to 40 years. He questioned whether there shouldn’t be such similar restriction on inter-state migration. He said how the nation would develop without foreign investments and administrative reforms. He found fault with KCR for demeaning Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kishan Reddy is all praise for PM Narendra Modi and his bold decisions. Kishan Reddy said 8 crore farmers across the nation have been benefited so far under Employment Guarantee Scheme. He said Rs 1.01 lakh crore is ready to be disbursed. Kishan Reddy said 3 crore pensions are being granted to old people and widows.
Minister of State for Home said whether Telangana wouldn’t get new hospitals and diagnostic centers under PM’s Rs 21 lakh Economic Stimulus Package? He said small-scale businesses and shop owners would get loans under Mudra Loans and construction workers would largely get benefited with the package. “If such large section of people will be benefited under Centre’s aid, how can you call it as bogus?” Kishan Reddy questioned.
