Kejriwal Surprises TDP MPs, Sits on Dharna For Special Status

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has joined the fight for special status to Andhra Pradesh launched by TDP MPs in New Delhi.The TDP MPs were arrested when they staged dharna in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding to accord Special status to Andhra Pradesh. Alerted police immediately shifted the TDP leaders to Tughlak Road police station.

On knowing the arrest of Telugu Desam leaders, Kejriwal immediately rushed to police station and joined the dharna continued by the MPs in the station. The Delhi CM said he is extending solidarity with TDP MPs for their uncompromising fight on special status.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has met his Delhi counterpart during his visit to national capital recently. Kejriwal extended his support to Naidu for the latter’s struggle to the cause of Andhra people.
