Vijay’s dubbed movie “Whistle” had raked in huge money in the first three days in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, while Karthi starrer “Khaidi” had a slow start.
Proving that content is the king, Karthi’s riveting thriller is now drawing more collection than Vijay’s movie.
In the past two days, it is Karthi’s movie is having an upper hand at the box-office.
“Khaidi” will continue its upward trend as there is not much competition this weekend except Vijay Deverakonda’s maiden production “Meeku Maathrame Cheptha”.
The film had collected Rs 50 lakhs share yesterday while ‘Whistle’ got 35 lakhs. This shows how the trend is going to be.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraju, “Khaidi” gained the momentum purely on the strength of movie reviews and word-of-mouth.
