KL Rahul reaches fifth ODI Century in 2nd ODI against England

Indian Right-hand batsman KL Rahul made a ton against the English team in the second One-day International (ODI) on Friday. The Bangalore player reached his century in just 108 deliveries. With this knock, Rahul recorded his fifth century.

KL Rahul came to bat at fourth position with Shreyas Iyer missing the match due to an injury. His century guided India to put 336 on the scoreboard. Along with skipper Virat Kohli, KL Rahul made a 121-run partnership.

The Right-Hand batsman had a poor T20 season. But he started the 50-over series with a bang. In the ODI series opener, KL Rahul remained not out at 62. He continues his form by reaching a century in the second match.

Skipper Virat Kohli and Rishab Pant made valuable contributions to the huge total. Virat made 66 off 79 balls reaching 10,000 runs milestone at number three position, while Rishab scored 77 off just 40 deliveries with three fours and seven sixes.

In the end, Hardik Pandya played a short and crisp cameo by making 35 in just 17 deliveries. India had managed to make 126 runs in the last 10 overs and take the total to 336/6 in their innings
