#KodiKatthi case: Accused Srinivasa Rao out of jail

On the results day of elections i.e, May 23rd, Srinvasa Rao, the prime accused in the murder attempt on YS Jagan, got bail. Srinivasa Rao is under NIA custody now and the NIA court has granted bail to him on a personal bond of Rs 30,000 and on a surety of two persons.

The formalities of the bail order took couple of days time and Srinivasa Rao walked out of jail sometime back. Speaking to the media outside Rajahmundry central jail, Srinivasa Rao made interesting comments.

“I’m a Jagan follower and did not intentionally do the attack. It happened accidentally. In this regards, I’m also ready for NARCO test. I just reached near to Jagan to take selfie and I had a small knife with me that can be used for fruit salad,” said Srinivasa Rao. He further added that he has no connection with Telugu Desam. Srinivasa Rao attacked Jagan inside a lounge in Vizag airport in October 2018. The Andhra Pradesh police have launched their own investigation on this case but later it was taken over by NIA upon the demand of YSRCP.
