Director Krish has finally opened about ‘Manikarnika’ and also found fault with actress Kangana Ranaut.
Speaking exclusively he said, “I have worked about 400 days for this film out of which 109 days went for the shoot. The team that has worked for ‘Kanche’ and ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ worked for ‘Manikarnika’ as well. We wrapped up the shooting, post-production works and divided the film into reels. After everything is done, I signed ‘NTR’ biopic.”
Even though completing key formalities, Krish added that he continued to shuffle between Mumbai and Hyderabad monitoring works of both the projects.
“But things started changing and the team of ‘Manikarnika’ claimed that I worked for the film only to some extent. This is untrue and this is where my morality and integrity of filmmaking got hurt,” stated Krish.
About the controversy of actor Sonu Sood walking out of the film, Krish found fault in Kangana. “Sonu Sood had no inhibitions working under a lady director. Whatever I heard from his exit from the project is, his entire role is changed. It’s the same case with Atul Kulkarni’s role,” added Krish.
When asked why he opened up after the release of ‘Manikarnika,” Krish justified that every director would like to show their film in positive light and moreover he had no intentions of creating a controversy before the release. “My silence has been taken for granted and this is where art of deception happened,” said Krish.
