How Krishna Vamsi Missed Bombhaat?

Creative director Krishna Vamsi may have lost his midas touch at box office but he still is known for his music sense. He not just shoots songs in utmost beautiful manner but also conceives decent songs from his music directors. However, movie lovers, fans of Vamsi especially, will be shocked to know that he rejected the chartbuster ‘Bombhaat’ song.

Movie lovers have fallen in love with the ‘Bombhaat’ song from Nithin’s upcoming film ‘LIE’, that was released last month. The peppy tune by Mani Sharma, catchy lyrics and the quirky rendition made the song an instant hit.

According to our sources, Mani Sharma had actually composed the ‘Bombhaat’ song for Krishna Vamsi’s upcoming film ‘Nakshatram’. He however gave it to the makers of ‘LIE’ after the Vamsi had rejected it.

Krishna Vamsi first approached Mani Sharma and asked him to compose two songs for Nakshatram. When the director rejected the ‘Bombhaat’ song, Mani Sharma opted out of the film. A total of 3 music directors have worked for Nakshatram. Of the 6 songs, Bheems Ceciroleo composed three, Bharath Madhusudhanan 2 and Hari Gowra composed 1 respectively.

In the end, “Bombhaat”, the song rejected by Vamsi became a chartbuster and the album of ‘Nakshatram’ has received mixed response, mostly negative from movie buffs.
