The Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) government had locked horns with the Centre and breathed fire on the union government over various decisions. From the Indo-China issue to the petrol prices to the fuel cess, Telangana Chief Minister KCR gave his best in lashing out at the BJP. KCR blamed the BJP for the prevailing situations in the country.
In a surprise move, the TRS government went into war mode against the Centre. As the politics in Telangana are revolving around paddy, CM KCR had blamed the Centre over procurement of paddy and said, the government is pushing the farmers in the state into big trouble by not procuring the paddy. As a bid to protest against the Centre the TRS launched protests.
The protests called by the TRS were a hit and the Dharna Chowk, a famous protest site in the city saw the leaders of the ruling party protesting at the side with party flags and placards.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) Working President, Municipal Administration Minister KTR took care of the protests at Sircilla, the constituency he represents. The protests named Maha Dharna saw the leaders and party workers actively participating in the protests with placards.
KTR gave an electrifying speech at the protest site and came down severely on the BJP. He blasted Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party chief Bandi Sanjay for encouraging farmers to go for paddy farming. When the Centre is not ready to procure the paddy, Bandi Sanjay is asking farmers to farm paddy. Who will save the farmers now? KTR asked.
Accusing BJP of indulging in Hindu-Muslim issues, KTR expressed his concerns over a person like Bandi Sanjay representing Parliament. No matter how many initiatives we bring for the public, the BJP spreads wrong information on that he said.
Lashing out at BJP for causing problems for th farmers, KTR drew a comparison between BJP and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, KTR said, Lal Bahadur Shastri used the sling Jai Jawaan Jai Kisaan, while the BJP is using No Kisaan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a spree of selling everything. With his wrong policies and decisions, India is on the frontlist of countries that are facing hunger issues. No country will prosper if farmers cry. But the BJP is making the farmers cry, he added.
