KTR uses opportunity to fire at BJP once again

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi and the Bharatiya Janata Party have been having their differences for the past few months, especially after the pandemic hit the country.

At a recent conference held by the Telangana Chambers of Commerce, Minister KTR had once again brought up the topic of the Center using the taxes from the Southern states to develop the North. He said that the Central Government has been doing this for a long time now, and even gave projects like the Bullet Train and others to Northern states like Gujarat and Delhi. KTR also said that the Central Government has been paying a deaf ear to the TRS’s requests of granting any major project to firms based in Hyderabad.

KTR pointed out that the BJP is staying quiet right now, as it does not have the kind of majority it would like to have in the southern states.

This was a discussion that came up before the GHMC elections, but following the GHMC elections, both TRS and BJP have been keeping quiet for diplomatic reasons. Minister Kishan Reddy has also spoken in support of KTR’s comments recently, which is now making everyone believe that both TRS and BJP are waiting for their chance to attack the other.
