The news of the world’s largest children’s apparel company, Kitex, withdrawing from the state of Kerala is causing a major wave across India. The Kitex group has now become the target of many states in the country, who are trying their best to get the company to invest in their state, by making lucrative offers.
The state of Telangana is also a part of that list, with Minister KTR having recently met with the bigwigs of the Kitex group. KTR’s conversation with the officials of the Kitex group is now trending on social media, with people lauding KTR for the way he spoke to the officials, and for the way he projected himself and the state of Telangana to them.
It is already known that KTR is a master when it comes to negotiating and finalising deals with big investors, and this has yet again been proven with the way he spoke in the video. KTR said that he would meet or beat any or all of the offers that have been made to the Kitex group, by other states in India. He also made clear that the Kitex group wouldn’t have to face any major issues in Telangana, as they would only always have to contact just one person, in case of any emergency. KTR also said that the state of Telangana has good relations with the government of India, including with Piyush Goyal, the new Union Textiles Minister. With such an impressive display of his leadership, it is now to be seen if the Kitex group will invest in India.
Watch @KTRTRS for professionalism.
