After opening to unanimous positive critics reviews and audiences’ response, Nani’s Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gaadha is racing ahead at the box-offices worldwide. The film has already crossed the 15 crore share in Telugu states and grossed close to $475,000 in the US until Sunday.
KVPG is particularity continuing its decent run at overseas box-office and it will cross the half million mark by Monday. The film has already surpassed Express Raja’s lifetime collections ($420,000) in the US and is currently trailing behind the other Sankranthi releases Nannaku Prematho ($2,100 K), Soggade Chinni Nayana ($840 K) and Nenu Sailaja ($650 K).
Out of these three, KVPG is all set to cross Nenu Sailaja in 3 more days and if it maintains its steam well, crossing Nag’s SCN by this weekend is a possibility, placing it only behind Nannaku Prematho, before the summer biggies takeover.
Trade pundits are already predicting that KVPG will easily cross the 25 crore share mark, making Nani the most bankable star. However, the slight drops in Ceded and other areas are posing a threat to the range of the film’s success.
