The bitter tussle between the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government and Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari exposed yet again on Thursday when the latter was denied permission to fly in a state government plane to Uttarakhand.
According to reports, Koshyari could not fly in a state-owned aircraft as Raj Bhavan’s official appeal was pending with the chief minister office for approval. Following which, the governor took a commercial flight to Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on Thursday morning.
The CMO has taken a serious view of this trouble caused to the Governor. The CM office claimed that the information regarding the permission for Governor to travel was given to the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday evening.
The CMO further held the officials at the Raj Bhavan liable for not notifying the Governor and not taking satisfactory measures for his travel. The CMO, however, is tightlipped on why the permission was denied to the Governor to fly the Govt plane.
