Superstar Mahesh Babu and star writer-director Trivikram Srinivas’ prestigious project has faced a lot of hurdles ever since it was announced. It stayed in the pre-production stage for a very long time and the shooting finally began with a fight sequence. As soon as it was completed, Mahesh Babu was forced to stop shooting due to the demise of his father.
There were reports that Trivikram too made some changes in the script and the fight sequence that was filmed before is going to be deleted. After recovering from the loss, the core team went abroad to complete the music sittings and returned to Hyderabad. With the team promising to release the movie on April 28th, they are planning a huge schedule.
As we know, Mahesh has a project lined up with SS Rajamouli and it is expected to begin in the second half of 2023. The team wants to release #SSMB28 during the summer. Sources say that the makers have planned a schedule that starts from the second week of January and ends at the end of March. This is a very long schedule and arguably the biggest one in Mahesh’s career which spanned over 2 decades. The schedule is going to last for 80 days and the shooting days are going to be around 60-65 excluding the holidays.
Mahesh and Trivikram delivered classics like ‘Athadu’ and ‘Khaleja’ previously. Pooja Hegde is the heroine in this project and people are eager to listen to Thaman’s songs. PS Vinod will be cranking the camera while Naveen Nooli is the editor. AS Prakash is the art director. Sreeleela has been roped in as the second heroine in this project which is bankrolled under ‘Haarika & Hassine Creations’.
