Malli Dookesthademo: Somireddy’s Satire On Chiru

Former Congress leader and film star Chiranjeevi’s unexpected support to AP CM YS Jagan’s three capitals proposal has left fans and political circles in disbelief. Chiru opined that the three separate capitals will decentralise development across the state.

Needless to say, Chiru’s statement became a hot topic in AP politics, especially when his younger brother and Janasena President Pawan Kalyan has been vehemently against Jagan’s three capital proposal. On the other hand, even the opposition leaders are targeting Chiru for his new stand.

Senior TDP leader Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy took to his Twitter and took a sarcastic jibe at the former Rajya Sabha MP. Somireddy said that Chiru had claimed during PRP’s launch that his party was formed for the people, but later jumped into Congress in exchange for the ministry and even became part of AP bifurcation.

Somireddy went on to mock Chiru, saying that instead of supporting his brother Pawan Kalyan who’s fighting for the people, the big brother has now resurfaced to sing a different tune. “How will he know AP people’s problems when he has all the business interests in Telangana? “Malli Dookesthademo!” (Perhaps he will jump (into YSRCP) again!,” Somireddy tweeted.
