shankar is well-known for having technical brilliance in his films and blending it with a nice social element. As his most-awaited and India’s costliest film 2.0 – made with a staggering Rs 600 Crore budget – is all set for release on Nov 29, here are some unknown facts and figures behind the film.
In order to give a great cinematic experience, Shankar and his visual effects team have worked so hard. Extensive VFX is said to be highlight of 2.0. It is learnt that as many as 3000 VFX technicians under the supervision of 1000 VFX experts have worked day and night to give the best output. Apparently, the film would have 2150 VFX shots, which is said to be highest-ever in an Indian film so far.
This is not all. Starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, the Shankar’s magnum opus is the first Indian film to be made with full fledged 3D technology and 4D sound. Oscar Award winners AR Rahman and Resul Pookutty said to have introduced a new kind of technology in sound with this film.
While Subhashkaran is producing the original film under Lyca Productions, NV Prasad, who acquired the Telugu theatrical rights, is releasing the film in Telugu states.
