#MeToo: Chinmayi Gets Shock from Dubbing Union


Chinmayi played a crucial part is exposing #MeToo incidents across India and she extended her unconditional support to all victims, who shared their stories with her on Twitter. She, in a way, started this huge campaign with her #MeToo story about senior lyricist Vairamuthu.

Chinmayi Sripada faced a huge backlash from many including star celebrities across all filmdom, but her latest tweets supporting a #Metoo victim whose allegations were against Radha Ravi might have costed her dubbing career in Tamil. Radha Ravi is the president of Tamil dubbing Association union.

The membership of Chinmayi Sripada from Tamil dubbing association has been terminated and she revealed the same on Twitter along with many questions she shot at the union. The association reportedly revoked her membership without an intimation and she asked the union why she had to lose a ten percent from her fee since last two years.

The famous singer and dubbing artiste suspected this much earlier to the support of alleged victims of Radha Ravi. Chinmayi doubts if her membership will be back, else her last film in Tamil would be Trisha’s 96.
