In view of the scarcity in supply of oxygen to hospitals, Megastar Chiranjeevi has announced that he will be starting an initiative to launch oxygen banks across Telugu states.
As announced, the star actor has launched his mission from today at Hyderabad. The initiative has been launched through the actor’s non-profit organisation Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust.
As a part of this mission, the first batch of oxygen cylinders and oxygen concentrators are sent to Anantapur and Guntur district centres.
Stating the same, Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust took to Twitter and posted a video of Chiru waving a green flag for the noble cause. The tweet of CCT read, “#ChiranjeeviOxygenBanks are accessible at Anantapur and Guntur district centres from 10.30 am today. Chiranjeevi Oxygen Banks will be available to the public in Khammam, Karimnagar and 5 other districts from tomorrow. No one should trouble to find oxygen on time anymore.”
Megastar has also tweeted the same and wrote, “Mission begins. Let there be no deaths due to lack of life saving oxygen.”
Chiranjeevi has teamed up with his son, actor Ram Charan, to begin the initiative. The father-son duo will work along with their fan clubs in each district of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to monitor the situation.
