Janata Dal (United) MLA Gopal Mandal is facing the heat due to the objectionable actions in a moving train as he reportedly roamed in undergarments on the Tejas Rajdhani Express on Thursday. The pictures of the MLA in undergarments went viral on social media.
The train journey of the MLA in undergarments had kick-started a big controversy. He has been facing severe criticism and heavy trolling over his train journey for creating a ruckus with his undergarments.
As if roaming in the undergarments, vest, and underwear is not enough, the Legislator had indulged in a war of words with the fellow passengers when they confronted him over his objectionable behavior that has created problematic situations for the passengers.
Seeing his objectionable actions, a passenger had indulged in a war of words with the MLA. After a passenger confronted the MLA, a few other passengers also joined him and questioned the Legislator. The MLA reportedly threatened the passengers. The issue reached a level that the Railway Protection Force(RPF) personnel had to intervene. With the situation reaching an alarming level, the Legislator was asked by the RPF Personnel to move to another coach from the coach he has been traveling on the Tejas Rajdhani Express.
The MLA had jumped in to defend his actions. The Legislator said he was spotted in undergarments as he was facing stomach upset. As he had to use the washroom, he took his clothes. Mandal said he used a towel but his towel was on his shoulder.
MLA Gopal Mandal spoke to the ANI on the controversy. He said he had a stomach upset after he boarded the train. Due to his urgency, he took off his kurta pyjama and used the washroom. Giving the reason for not wrapping the towel, the MLA said he was carrying the towel on his shoulder.
The netizens are taking a dig at the MLA over his comments on backing his actions. The users said they don’t know that they should roam in undergarments whenever they face stomach upset. Women users in their tweets asked what they should do during their menstruation every month.
