PM Modi is known for his aggressive posturing and sensational decisions. Modi will not think twice nor look back once he takes a decision. This was seen in surgical strikes against Pakistan or banning of 500,1000 notes.
Though people hailed demonetisation decision, many expressed anger on making honest people stand in long queues. During that time rumours spread that Modi will soon take a sensational decision which will result in the recovered black money getting credited into the accounts of the poor.
Government however rubbished all those rumours much to the disappointment of the people. However inside talk is PM Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley are planning even bigger sensation with Universal Basic Income.
Government is planning to consider “Universal Basic Income” or a regular state payment to all citizens regardless of their employment status.This will provide safety net for all people and remove inefficient benefit systems currently in place.
Though rich and affluent may not be that interested in this scheme but poor and needy will be attracted if Government credits money into their accounts free of cost for their daily usage.
