The decision to remove interview system for Class-III & IV government job seekers will come into effect from Friday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called it as New Year gift which will keep the youth away from corruption.
The move will impact 29 lakh central government jobs. “This will help curb corruption”, said Modi.
Recently in Noida, while addressing the gathering present at an event organized to lay foundation stone for 14 lane expressways that will connect Delhi to Meerut, Modi said, “We are going to give a unique gift to the youth, such a unique gift which will free the youth from corruption, it will free the youth from being compelled to depend on anybody.”
“Through technology and on the basis of merit, if anybody deserves a job, the offer will reach his house,” he added.
This was a major step to free the nation from clutches of corruption. The practice of bribes, ignoring merit and ultimately losing out on genuine candidates will not be seen anymore hopefully, the new protocols will solve the government job selection process setback.
