Naga Chaitanya Trying Something Different With His First Web Series

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has been experimenting of late. His upcoming release, Thank You is directed by Vikram K Kumar, who is known for making creative films. Also, he is busy with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha now. This biggie is a slice of life drama that is an adaption of Hollywood cult classic, Forrest Gump. The film is carrying high expectations and it will feature Chaitanya in an important role. Acting alongside Aamir Khan should certainly offer a new working experience to Chaitanya.

Cut to now, Chaitanya is trying something new again with his first web series which will be officially announced very soon. This series will also be directed by Vikram K Kumar and it will be produced by Sharath Marar who owns North Star Entertainments. This is the first time the Akkineni is starring in a web entertainment project and here is an interesting update on the same.

Apparently, Vikram K Kumar has penned a horror thriller subject that suits Naga Chaitanya and the latter is very much excited about the series. Chaitanya was never seen in a horror based celluloid till now and he is trying it out with his maiden web series. Vikram K Kumar has locked the first draft and he will be done with the final draft after a series of discussions with Chaitanya and the producer. In all likelihood, this series will be made available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

It will be an 8-episode series that will bank mainly on horror and drama elements. More details about the cast and crew will be out once the project is officially announced. It will be produced on a lavish scale and the makers will soon be erecting a special set for shooting purpose. Chaitanya will focus on the project and allot his dates once he is done with his current commitments. He plans to complete shooting for the series at a brisk pace so that it doesn’t interfere with his schedule. Earlier this year, Samantha entered web entertainment space with The Family Man season 2 and it appears to be that it is Naga CHaitanya’s turn now.
