In Godavari districts, Nagarjuna’s “Soggade Chinni Nayana” is setting new records. Although the family entertainer has become universal hit, the audiences in these districts have lapped up more as the Bangarraju role that Nagarjuna played in the movie is typical of Godavari region. Also the movie’s story is completely set in the backdrop of Godavari districts.
For the first time in Nagarjuna’s career, the movie has crossed stunning Rs 3 Cr share in East Godavari district. On 26th January, in a single day alone, it has collected Rs 14 lakhs share. Rs 3 Cr share in East Godavari is the highest figure for a senior hero.
In West Godavari too, it has crossed impressive total of Rs 1.66 Cr share. Directed by Kalyan Krishna, “Soggade Chinni Nayana” told the story of Bangarraju and his son Ramu. Ramya Krishna, Lavanya Tripathi and Anasuya have played the female lead roles.
