Telugu Desam Party has got an unassailable victory in the Nandyal by-election as it trashed its rival YSR Congress party with a majority of over 27,000. While TDP secured 97,106 votes, YSRCP got 69,610 votes and Congress got 1357 votes. In percentages, TDP got 56 per cent of votes, while YSRCP got 40 per cent and Congress got 1 per cent. TDP has shown complete majority in all the rounds except 16th round in which YSRCP got just 654 votes more than the TDP. Rest is all TDP’s show.
