Nani is all set to have his maiden pan-Indian release through ‘Dasara’. The star hero is making sure that the movie reaches everyone as he is promoting the film in all regions and languages. He is attending events, giving interviews, talking to the media and many more. During one of his interviews, he made some interesting comments on Sukumar which made some people quite angry.
When asked about ‘Dasara’ being the first film of director Srikanth Oodela and going the pan-Indian route with it, Nani stated that even directors who made hit pan-Indian films in recent times are new to the audience in other regions. He took Sukumar and his ‘Pushpa’ as an example of it. This led to people saying that Sukumar is a director who is way above Nani’s level.
With the news getting out of hand, Nani decided to clarify on this topic. He stated, “My intention is not to demean Sukumar garu, but I’ve stated that when he made Pushpa, he’s a newcomer in other languages than Telugu, like how my director is a newcomer even in Telugu.” While some agree with him, others claim that Sukumar is a huge director in Tollywood and he cannot be compared to Srikant Oodela who is a debutant. It looks like Nani is making one interesting comment after the other during the movie’s promotions.
Coming back to ‘Dasara’, Keerthy Suresh will be seen as the heroine in this flick while Santosh Narayanan has composed the music. Naveen Nooli is the editor while Sathyan Sooryan ISC is the director of photography. Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Dheekshith Shetty plays a key role in this movie while Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar, Zarina Wahab and others play key roles.
