Released in 2015, Nani’s Bhale Bhale Magadivoi went on to become the first major blockbuster in his career. Directed by Maruthi, the unique quirky romantic comedy offered a hilarious experience to audiences.Unfortunately, the same could not be repeated for Bhale Bhale Magadivoi’s Tamil version, Ghajinikanth. Starring Arya and Akhil’s heroine Sayyeshaa, the Tamil version released today and received negative reviews from popular critics.
Although Ghajinikanth is a faithful frame by frame remake of Bhale Bhale Magadivoi, the fun factor which was the main USP for the Telugu version, failed to work wonders for the Tamil version. Some went on to say, “a forgettable film about a forgetful man”. Perhaps, that explains everything!
