Most of the filmmakers are taking preventive measures to avoid this virus which is none other than stopping the shooting and rescheduling it. This is happening across all the film industries and Bollywood makers are a step ahead of everyone.
Shahid Kapoor who scored a massive blockbuster with ‘Kabir Singh’ last year is doing the remake of Nani’s touching film ‘Jersey’. The outbreak of Corona has forced the team to stop the shooting. Shahid officially announced through his Twitter handling saying, “At a time like this it is our social responsibility to do everything in our capacity to curb the spread of this virus. Team #Jersey is suspending shoot so as to enable all unit members to be with their families and in the safety of their homes. Be responsible. Stay safe.”
‘Jersey’ is remade in Hindi by Gautham Thinnanuri who directed the original. It is being funded by Dil Raju and Allu Aravind along with another Hindi producer.
