Nani’s Tuck Jagadish mints Rs 51 crores

If reports are to be believed, Nani’s Tuck Jagadish has minted as much as Rs 51 crores. The direct OTT rights of the film alone fetched Rs 37 crores, which is a staggering number.

Amazon Prime paid Rs 37 crores for the direct to digital rights of Tuck Jagadish and the remaining 14 crores were amassed by selling off the satellite, dubbing, and audio rights.

The makers of Tuck Jagadish have minted decent profits by selling off all the rights of the film.

Nani initially persisted on theatrical release but he had to give in as the theatrical business in Andhra Pradesh is in the worst possible situation, owing to the ticket pricing issue.

Holding the film’s release any longer can incur big losses to the producers, given the interest rates. So, they decided to sell off the direct to digital rights of the film for a fancy amount.
